JD Sports

Elevating women in a fast-moving retail culture

JD Sports partner with RedSky to empower their future female leaders all the way through to supporting with executive coaching and developing a strong sense of leadership across the organisation. Together, we continuously develop a bespoke programme focused on equipping female talent to step into their potential with confidence and clarity.

The challenge

While the business had a strong performance-driven culture, they recognised the need to improve representation of women at senior levels. Many faced self-doubt, lacked visible role models, and struggled to access the networks and development opportunities needed to progress.

Our approach

We co-designed a high-impact programme that included:

  • Workshops tailored to empower women to make informed decisions about their careers that align with their values.

  • Confidence and presence coaching to help women with their approach in the workplace and maximise their impact.

  • Mentoring and networking skills to create a wider community and peer support.

  • Strategic visibility planning to help participants position themselves for opportunities.

  • Participants reported a dramatic shift in their confidence and proactiveness.


  • Multiple women stepped into new or expanded leadership roles.
